The relevance of human capital in Japan’s development

Japan’s economic and social development is a rather controversial process; as such, it is often debated. However, it also serves as a great example for successful convergence and growth. An event titled “The role of human resources in Japan’s capital influx” had been staged by the Labour Unit of the Hungarian Economic Association on 7 March 2019. The discussion was summarised and complemented with research data by Krisztina Sőreg. Her article can be downloaded from the home page of the Labour Review.
